Our PREMIERE event!
Returning Summer 2025!
RPG (Mystery Quest) Field Days
A five-day, kid (12+) and teen (<18) friendly mystery adventure that is personalized for the players - incorporating their favorite mythic tales from books, movies, comics, and video games! Built on Son of Oak Games’ City of Mist, a Role Play Game set in a magical city of super-powered characters.
A dynamic 20-hour, week-long, half-day summer camp built for you!
This half-day camp integrates a LARP (Live Action Role-Play), tabletop RPG (Role-Play Game), escape room style puzzles, and art-making activities to foster interpersonal connection, problem-solving, creativity, and personal growth.
Players will join with their teammates in a series of adventures to solve a mystery by engaging with peers and adult actors playing various characters. Participants will play characters inspired by a favorite character from a movie, game, or story. Players will create their characters with the Emcee, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has years of experience designing and facilitating role-play games with youth and teens. No previous role-play game experience necessary!
All the Actors and Activity Facilitators are Licensed Mental Health Clinicians or Graduate-Level Clinical Volunteers, there will be a high ratio of adult supervision.
What to Expect During the Field Days:
Investigation and Exploration Role-Play Scenes - Interact with characters to receive clues and adventure tasks!
Adventure Role-Play Scenes - Solve puzzles, ciphers, and face off with adversaries!
Tabletop Role-Play - Face Dangers and Make Character Moves!
Milieu Role-Play Scenes - Discuss clues and exchange theories with other player characters or cheer on epic super-powered skirmishes!

At Gamescape Center we create and facilitate Pro-social Events that engage teens, fostering a community united by a shared appreciation for the inherent value of gaming and role-play. We recognize these activities not only as sources of entertainment but also as powerful tools for forging connections, building lasting friendships, and enriching interpersonal awareness and understanding.
We utilize a neurodiversity-affirmative approach. We understand and celebrate the diverse ways in which individuals experience and interact with the world. By embracing neurodiversity, we create an inclusive environment that welcomes people with varying cognitive and relational styles and preferences, ensuring that everyone can participate and contribute to the fullest extent. We honor autonomy and self-care.
Collaboration is at the core of our events. We actively cultivate an atmosphere that encourages participants to work together, combining their unique strengths and perspectives to achieve common goals. By emphasizing collaboration, we not only enhance the gaming experience but also impart valuable skills that can be applied in various aspects of life.
